We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
* Identify, record, and document defects clearly with supporting evidence and steps to reproduce.
* Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
* Perform manual and automated testing on web, mobile, and API-based applications.
* Validate fixes and perform retesting, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
* Report on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* [1-3 / 3-5 / 5+] years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
* Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle, and test methodologies.
* Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
* Familiarity with automated testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus.
* Knowledge of basic SQL and ability to validate data in databases.
* Good understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
